A day in the life:
Reporting to the Brand & Marketing Manager, you’ll create engaging visual content that supports sales, events, tourism initiatives, and overall brand growth across Magnetic Hill Winery and Loose Wire Winery. You’ll collaborate closely on content planning and creation, while ensuring all visuals align with our established brand voice and aesthetic.

You’ll be responsible for capturing high-quality photo and video content onsite, including:

• Lifestyle photography (guests, patio, events)
• Product photography (wine features, seasonal releases, food pairings)
• Short-form video content (Reels, trends, event highlights)
• Real-time event coverage when needed

What you bring:

• A love for wine
• Strong portfolio demonstrating photo/video content (especially reels)
• Photography experience
• Confident using professional camera equipment & creating phone content
• Great taste level (composition, pacing, captions, music selection)
• Able to naturally adapt to brand voice & guidelines
• Reliable transportation
• Flexible schedule - able to work weekdays, evenings & weekends
• Physically fit to meet requirements of lifting 35 lb-50 lb cases of wine, standing for long periods in various environments
• Be at least 19 years of age
• Safely adhere to public health and Covid policies and guidelines to maintain a safe environment

What will make you successful:

• You can meet weekly deliverables - all content to be submitted weekly for review & scheduling
• You are comfortable working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• You’re able to coordinate content shoots (source models, provide creative direction, ensure brand standards are maintained)
• Looking sharp and professional every day, while still being approachable and friendly

Preferred:

• Bilingual (French and English) or multi-lingual
• Love dogs! (Magnum and Brix our Australian Shepherds are around for lots of cuddles)
• High school diploma or GED
• Post-secondary education or relevant experience is an asset

A day in the life:

This role involves developing and executing engaging digital content across various platforms to enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, with proficiency in graphic design tools and social media management applications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO to increase organic reach.
• Develop compelling and tailored content for each advertising campaign, including taking photographs for social media and marketing use
• Assist with paid advertising campaigns on Facebook and other social media platforms, including ad creation and performance analysis.
• Work closely with the sales & marketing team on social media content, partnership activations, and media amplification
• Representing Magnetic Hill Winery at external winery events when needed
• Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Identify opportunities and challenges in the marketplace, and craft compelling messages and campaigns that differentiate the winery’s products and services
• Track and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics, and adjust strategies and tactics as needed to achieve desired results
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of the winery’s sales and marketing efforts
• Ensure that all sales and marketing activities adhere to legal and ethical guidelines, as well as the winery’s brand standards and voice
